Ryan Jacobs. #17

Ryan began playing hockey at the age of two and a half at his father’s roller rink, developing early skill, balance, and a strong foundation for the game. He later transitioned to ice hockey, where his passion and commitment to continued development have remained constant. After completing his mite years, he played up for three seasons, consistently competing against older and more physically developed players until rule changes required him to return to his age group.

Playing up accelerated his growth and helped shape his identity as a high-compete, hard-working player. Facing bigger and stronger opponents required him to elevate his effort, awareness, and consistency, reinforcing a relentless motor and strong work ethic. Those attributes continue to define his game today, as he plays with pace, resilience, and a willingness to compete in all situations.
