DEVELOPMENT & PLAYING OUTLOOK

Antonucci's progression from 13U AA to 14U AA, 15U AAA and now 16U AAA demonstrates a steady advancement through increasingly competitive levels of youth hockey.

One of the encouraging aspects of his statistical development has been his ability to contribute offensively in different ways. Earlier in his career, Antonucci showed goal-scoring ability with 14 goals in 33 games for the Jersey Colts. The following season, his 11 assists with the New Jersey Jets demonstrated an increased ability to contribute as a distributor.

His production with Boston Hockey Academy provided another positive step. Recording 9 points in 13 listed AAA games and 5 points in seven BEAST games showed that Antonucci could continue generating offense after making the transition into AAA competition.

Now competing at the 16U AAA level with Compuware, Antonucci enters an important stage of his development. The 16U level places greater demands on a player's skating, strength, decision-making, puck management and ability to perform consistently against high-level competition.

At just 16 years old, Antonucci still has significant development ahead of him. Continuing to improve his strength, skating, offensive consistency and complete two-way game will be important as he works toward opportunities beyond youth hockey.

His willingness to move through different programs and progressively higher levels of competition demonstrates a commitment to challenging himself and continuing his development.

With experience in both New Jersey and Massachusetts hockey and now an opportunity with Compuware in Michigan, Donato Antonucci continues building a diverse hockey background as he works toward the next stage of his playing career.
