Player BIO

Cam Petrillo #17

Power Forward | 2-Way Impact Player | Class of 2026

Cam Petrillo is a big, strong power forward who plays a heavy, physical two-way game while possessing the hockey IQ and soft hands to make plays in tight spaces. He combines size, strength, and skill to create offense for both himself and his teammates, making him an impact player every time he steps on the ice.

A dedicated student of the game, Cam has invested years into developing his skating, puck skills, strength, and overall hockey IQ. He has trained and competed alongside top ’07 prospects in elite showcases, tournaments, and camps throughout the country—from Boston (Cape Cod Whalers, Boston Punishers, Paul Vincent Skating) to Los Angeles (R.A.D. Hockey / LA Junior Kings).
He also trains under renowned strength coach Mike Boyle, building a powerful, pro-ready frame to complement his skill set.
He has worked with mental skills coach Bob Tewksbury on techniques of imagery, self-awareness, and strategic thinking to maximize performance and has a strong relationship Dr. Max Offenberger, a renowned sports psychologist affiliated with the Boston Bruins.

Currently serving as Senior Captain at Arlington High School (Division 1, Massachusetts), Cam is on pace for a 50-point season, evenly split between goals and assists—demonstrating both his scoring touch and playmaking ability. He developed through the Boston Junior Penguins AAA program under Coach John Messuri since age 11, where he grew not only as a player but as a respected leader and teammate.

Cam is highly coachable and committed to constant improvement. He spends extensive time reviewing film, refining details in his game, and embracing feedback. Mature beyond his years, humble, and team-first in his approach, he leads by example both on and off the ice.

With continued development, Cam projects as a high-upside power forward capable of competing at the NCAA Division I level, with the long-term goal of pursuing a professional career.

Off the ice, Cam values time with family and friends and enjoys golf, fishing, basketball, and the beach—bringing balance, character, and perspective to his pursuit of excellence
