Ayden Drake’s dedication, determination, and passion for sports are contagious. His love for hockey began at just four years old and has only grown stronger with time. Every coach who has worked with Ayden has been impressed not only with his skill, but with his eagerness to learn. He arrives at practice ready to improve, listens carefully as drills are explained, and quickly puts what he learns into action.

Quiet, focused, and respectful, Ayden lets his work ethic speak for itself. He has always embraced being part of a team and enjoys every minute he spends on the ice. Throughout his development he has taken advantage of every opportunity to improve, attending numerous camps and extra practices whenever possible.

Growing up, Ayden has been a multi-sport athlete, playing flag football, soccer, basketball, and baseball—sports he still enjoys today. But hockey has always been his true passion. Coaches from other sports often encouraged him to focus on their teams, but Ayden’s answer was always the same:

“Sorry, that would interfere with hockey.”
